The state can maintain a number of critical services at the essential level without data transmission service

TALLINN, 29 January 2026 – In the event of a data outage, rapid assistance to people who need help, emergency public warning, interbank payments and the coverage of expenses financed from the State Treasury would generally remain accessible, the National Audit Office finds. Additional time and inconvenience must be taken into account if these services reviewed in the audit need to be kept functional without data transmission service.
