The purpose of the working visit is to get to know the work and management of the Estonian National Audit Office. Topics to be discussed include strategic planning and the audit process, and the Estonian representatives will introduce recent performance audits, including the recently published annual report of the National Audit Office and IT audits.
The National Audit Office and the Romanian Court of Accounts cooperated closely last year when they jointly organised the annual meeting of the Information Technology Working Group (ITWG) of the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. At that time, the Auditor General Janar Holm also visited Bucharest.
