The Governing Board of EUROSAI convenes regularly to discuss the implementation of the EUROSAI operational plan as well other matters relevant to the organisation. The National Audit Office of Estonia is chairing the EUROSAI IT Working Group (ITWG) and has been invited to the meeting as a guest. Auditor General Mr Janar Holm has been requested present to the Governing Board the implications artificial intelligence has to the work of supreme audit institutions as well as the projects of ITWG related to the theme. Mr Matanyahu Englman, State Comptroller and Ombudsman of Israel and President of EUROSAI as well as Mr Tony Murphy, the President of the European Court of Auditors will also speak in the special session dedicated to artificial intelligence. Mr Alvar Nõuakas, head of the EUROSAI ITWG Secretariat will accompany the Auditor General to the meeting in the United Kingdom.
The EUROSAI Governing Board is currently comprised of the supreme audit institutions of the Czech Republic, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Slovakia, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The National Audit Office of Estonia has been chairing the EUROSAI IT Working Group since 2020.
