The conference, titled “Security of EU Countries from the Perspective of Supreme Audit Institutions”, brings together heads of European audit institutions to discuss the role of supreme audit institutions in strengthening security and resilience in a rapidly changing world. Speeches are expected to be delivered by Poland’s representatives of the Sejm and the government cabinet, as well as several high-ranking international officials, including from INTERPOL, the OECD, the International Board of Auditors for NATO, and the European Court of Auditors.
The conference will address a wide range of defence and security-related risks, along with audit topics linked to Europe’s defence capacity – such as increasing defence investments, critical infrastructure, military mobility, and the resilience of society and IT systems against cyberattacks.
Also representing the National Audit Office of Estonia at the conference are Audit Manager Henry Sinivee and Head of International Relations Kaire Kesküla.
