TALLINN, 3 April 2017 – Auditor General Alar Karis will attend the cyber defence seminar “Cyber Security: National Threats & State Audit” in Jerusalem, Israel, from 2 to 5 April.
The Israeli State Comptroller and Ombudsman organisation and the state of Israel organise the seminar for the heads of supreme audit institutions. The seminar focuses on cyber security risks at the level of state and the opportunities of the state audit offices as organisations to prevent such risks.
Auditor of the Local Government Audit Department Meeli Saksing, who is currently working on the audit “Implementation of IT Security Measures in Local Governments”, will attend the seminar with the Auditor General.
