TALLINN, 26 September 2016 – The National Audit Office of Estonia and the State Audit Office of Macedonia will organise the annual meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA) of the European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) from 27 to 29 September in Skopje.
The main topics to be discussed at the meeting are marker-based instruments in environmental conservation and the international environmental audit standards of supreme audit institutions. A training day about auditing sustainable development will be held before the meeting on 26 September.
The chair of the EUROSAI WGEA is the Auditor General of Estonia Alar Karis and the other members of the National Audit Office’s delegation are Head of International Relations and Head of EUROSAI WGEA Secretariat Tuuli Rasso, Senior Auditor at the Performance Audit Department Viire Viss and auditor Kristiina Visnapuu, and Adviser to the EUROSAI WGEA Secretariat Krislin Kivi.
