TALLINN, 25 January 2015 – On 26-29 January, an international team will conduct the first stage of the peer review at the National Audit Office (NAO) which includes workshops with the NAO executives, audit teams and services and learning the opinions and self-evaluations of staff members concerning their strengths and weaknesses.
The review team is international: Barbara Goezinne, Frank van den Broek, Paul Neelissen and Luc Terra from the Dutch SAI, Jenny Öhman Persson and Fredrik Friberg from the Swedish SAI and Paweł Banaś from the Polish SAI.
According to plans, the peer review will be completed in September 2015. Previous reviews commissioned by the National Audit Office were conducted in 1999 and 2005.
