TALLINN, 26 June 2019 – From 27-28 June Auditor General Janar Holm will be attending the meeting of the Contact Committee of the Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions of the European Union in the Polish capital of Warsaw.
The 2019 Contact Committee meeting is largely dedicated to the topic of Europe’s digital policy. Through discussions the participants will determine the context, directions and forms of the work performed by their audit institutions in the rapidly changing digital world. At the meeting Auditor General Janar Holm will be chairing the discussion on e-governance and cybersecurity auditing along with his counterparts from Malta, Sweden and Slovenia. In the course of the meeting all auditors general will be able to discuss topics of common interest at length, learn more about the European Union policies in connection with cooperative audits and the committee’s workgroups, and plan new cooperation projects.
Auditor General Janar Holm will be accompanied to the meeting by Urmet Lee, Director of the Development and Administration Service, Tuuli Rasso, Head of International Relations, auditor Alvar Nõuakas, and adviser on international relations Kaire Kesküla.
