LUXEMBOURG, 11 October 2016 - The European Court of Auditors (ECA) has launched the fourth edition of the “European Court of Auditors Award for research into public sector auditing” for academic research linked to public audit and to the ECA’s mission and values in order to provide an incentive and recognition for research on public-audit-related issues.
The winner will receive from the ECA 5000 euros, a medal and an award certificate.
The fourth edition of the ECA Award pays tribute to the memory of Henrik Otbo, a former Member of the ECA and a great contributor to the development of audit standards, both nationally and at EU level.
The deadline for applications is 15 December 2016.
More details on the ECA 2016 Award can be found on the ECA website (http://www.eca.europa.eu/en/Pages/ECA-Award-2016.aspx).
