TALLINN, 19 July 2019 – Auditor General Janar Holm is to attend the Supreme Audit Institutions Leadership and Stakeholder meeting being held at the headquarters of the UN in New York in the United States on 22 & 23 July 2019.
The meeting is entitled ‘Supreme Audit Institutions making a difference: Auditing the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals’. The event is being jointly organised by the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) and the United Nations Department of Social and Economic Affairs (UNDESA).
The meeting will provide an opportunity to take stock of three years of experience in conducting performance audits and to consider how this may inform auditing going forward. It will be attended by 239 delegates from around the world. Also taking part from the National Audit Office of Estonia will be senior auditor Viire Viss.
