TALLINN, 12 June 2019 – Auditor General Janar Holm will attend the meeting of the Governing Board of the European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions EUROSAI in Jurmala from 12 to 13 June 2019.
The Governing Board meets every year to discuss the development of cooperation projects, which belong to the action plan of the EUROSAI and are primarily aimed at exchanging experience and increasing the capability of audit institutions, and the strategic issues of EUROSAI as an institution. Auditor General Janar Holm will attend the meeting as a guest and present an overview of the activities in 2018 and 2019 of the EUROSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing (EUROSAI WGEA), which is chaired by the National Audit Office of Estonia, to the Governing Board. Advisor to the Secretariat of EUROSAI WGEA Kaire Kesküla will accompany the Auditor General at the meeting.
The supreme audit institutions of Spain, the Netherlands, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Finland, the Czech Republic and Turkey belong to the Governing Board of EUROSAI.
