TALLINN, 15 October 2018 - Auditor General Janar Holm attended the meeting of the Contact Committee of the Heads of the European Court of Audit and Supreme Audit Institutions of EU Member States in Dubrovnik, Croatia on 11-12 October.
The working groups and task forces of the Contact Committee reported on their work during the year and outlined future plans of action. A seminar on “Interaction with EU Citizens - opening SAIs” was held with the list of guest speakers featuring a representative of Citizens for Europe, a Member of the European Parliament, and the Director of the SIGMA (Support for Improvement in Governance and Management) initiative of OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development).
Auditors General talked about organising audits related to the EU.
Auditor General Janar Holm was accompanied at the meeting by Director of Audit Ines Metsalu-Nurminen and Head of International Relations & Liaison Officer Tuuli Rasso.
