The addressed innovative solutions included possibilities of modernising reporting by means of graphic design and social media, the use of new technologies for auditing, and innovative forms of cooperation. First and foremost, the conference participants underlined that, today, the work of SAIs calls for open and innovative thinking.

The Young EUROSAI Conference is a discussion forum for the employees of SAIs below the age of 35 which was launched on the initiative of the Auditor General of the Netherlands to enable the youth to present their new and fresh ideas. These ideas should serve as an input for the EUROSAI Congress held in June 2014.
