Prevention of work capability decrease

The purpose of the audit is to assess the state’s activities in creating a safe working environment and preventing the addition of people with reduced work ability.

The main questions in the audit are the following:
1. Have the activities of the Labour Inspectorate, the Health Board, the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund facilitated the prevention of the addition of people with reduced work ability due to employment?
2. Have the activities of the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Labour Inspectorate and the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund facilitated the creation of a safe working environment by employers?
3. What are the current results of the work ability reform?
4. Can a decrease in work ability be predicted on the basis of the health data collected in Estonia?
