Interim review of the implementation of Rail Baltic

The audit seeks to answer the three key questions as follows:
• Is the development of the Rail Baltic project proceeding in accordance with the planned schedule and budget?
• Will the state acquire the land plots necessary for the implementation of the Rail Baltic project by the agreed deadline?
• Have the costs of land acquisition been clarified?
The audit also examines what activities have been undertaken since the completion of the 2019 audit report. It is analysed whether the problems identified in the management of risks and changes as well as in the organisation of supervision have been resolved.
