Availability of public services in peripheral areas of local authorities following the administrative reform

In the overview, it is analysed whether and what are the issues in the availability of services in the peripheries of local governments after the administrative reform.

The overview is looking for responses to the following questions:
• Since the administrative reform, how has the availability of essential services changed in areas where a local government centre is located significantly further away than before?
• How has the involvement of the population in the development of the region and the organisation of services changed since the administrative reform?
• Do the changes in access to services and community involvement have the effect that was counted on in the preparation of the reform?
