Preparation of people’s reserve for national defence and internal security

The purpose of the audit is to assess how reserve units have neem manned for military national defence and what the resulting combat readiness level of the units of the Defence Forces is.

The main question:
Have the reserve units for military national defence been manned purposefully and efficiently?
In order to assess the purposefulness, the audit examines whether conscripts are trained to the extent necessary for the wartime units of the Defence Forces to achieve combat readiness. In order to analyse the efficiency, the audit examines whether, in addition to training conscripts, during conscript service, to serve as reservists, the Defence Forces also systematically maintain and update their knowledge and skills during reserve service so that the prepared reserve remains up to date and relevant.

Main questions:
1. Is the number of conscripts based on the needs of the Defence Forces and is it realistic?
2. Does the conscript service ensure that the required positions for reservists are filled and that units with the planned combat readiness are created?
3. How is the training and refreshing of the knowledge of reservists organised after military service?
