EUROSAI cooperative audit on data protection
In the joint audit of the EUROSAI IT working group the National Audit Office will analyse how the protection of personal data is organised at the level of state and which additional measures for personal data protection have been established internally by the owners of databases, incl. how and for whom is access to personal data restricted, how the use of data is checked, are recovery plans prepared and how is it done, etc.
A comparative overview of personal data protection in all countries participating in the audit will be prepared as a result of the joint audit. Belgium, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta and Moldova will participate in the audit in addition to Estonia.
