TALLINN, 29 March 2011 - Auditor General Mihkel Oviir and Director of the National Audit Office will attend the 3rd conference of the international organisations of the supreme audit institutions of Arabian and European countries held from 29 to 30 March in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.
The conference focuses on discussions of subjects of common interest, such as making the work of audit institutions more efficient and fighting corruption.
The first ARABOSAI-EUROSAI conference was held in 2006 in Tunisia and the main subject back then was ‘Privatisation and its impact on the management of public services’. The main topic of the conference held in 2009 in France was ‘Contribution of the SAIs to the modernization of the state’.
