TALLINN, 2 June 2015 – On an invitation from the AFROSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA), Alar Karis, the chairman of the EUROSAI WGEA, and Tuuli Rasso, the Head of EUROSAO WGEA Secretariat, attended the presentation, made in Ndjamena from 26 May to 1 June, of the results of a joint audit by countries bordering on Lake Chad. Further potential cooperation was discussed with the AFROSAI WGEA Secretariat, including the possibility that the Estonian SAI might contribute to training on infrastructure auditing prior to the AFROSAI WGEA meeting to be held in Senegal in November.
