Organisation of welfare of the elderly in general nursing homes of municipalities and cities

The organisation of the general welfare service for the elderly in local authorities is analysed in the audit. The compliance of nursing homes with requirements arising from law or legislation issued on the basis thereof, the supervision exercised by local authorities over the performance of the contracts entered into for the provision of the service and the manner in which the state (Ministry of Social Affairs) has enhanced the accessibility of general nursing home services and helped guarantee quality will be evaluated.
